A successful portrait reflects more than just the subject’s external likeness, it also expresses his or her personality. In order to best represent the model I carefully work with the client in choosing the gesture, clothing and background to set a mood that brings out the model’s unique qualities. I strive to create a work of art that will become a family heirloom and bring lasting joy and beauty.
